Two teams vying for the Albany Junior Soccer Association under-12 league title, Parklands and Denmark, fought out a 13-goal thriller when they met last Saturday.

In a highly entertaining encounter, Parklands started the stronger, scoring five goals in the first half to their opponents’ two.

Denmark produced a remarkable comeback in the second half and levelled the match at 6-6 before Parklands finally found the winner.

Little Grove were too strong for John Calvin, winning 5-1, while Albany Primary, another title contender, kept their perfect record intact with a hard-fought 5-0 victory over St Josephs.
