Hilton: Police call for witnesses after elderly woman hit by car on South Street

Major Crash investigators are calling for information from the public after an 89-year-old woman was hit by a car in Perth’s south.

The elderly woman was crossing South Street in Hilton on Sunday afternoon when she was struck by a white Renault Koleos.

The station wagon was travelling west when it hit the pedestrian near Carrington Street about 4.35pm.

The driver, a 57-year-old man, immediately stopped and helped the woman, who received serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance paramedics.
