West Coast Fever have locked away their mid-court for next season with Geraldton’s Emma Cosh signing a one-year deal.

Cosh has played just 26 games since making her debut in 2020, becoming a fully contracted player this year after Ingrid Colyer was ruled out with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

Colyer sustained the injury midway through the 2020 season and was not allowed to be re-contracted under the Super Netball rules.

“It’s a real privilege to have this opportunity and I am thankful I can continue to grow as a player to reach my full potential,” Cosh said.

“Looking back on last season, although we didn’t get the end result, there were many positives and we have taken away some great learnings. I am really looking forward to building again in 2022.

“I believe as a club we are in a really great place, which is why I cannot wait to get back on court as a team and continue to grow and bring home a premiership.

“It’s also a really exciting time to have (head coach) Dan (Ryan) entering the Fever family and I’m looking forward to developing my wing attack and goal attack game with him. We are an extremely competitive team, who love to take on a challenge.”
