Geraldton’s metro soccer team is playing at home today and hoping to keep an unbeaten run in the second round of competition.

Ugle Fabrications La Fiamma play Kalamunda at the Salvatore Sciuto ground after drawing on the road last weekend and coach Keegan Roos said he was hoping the community would get down and support them as they tried to improve on a heavy loss last round.

“We are looking forward to playing (Kalamunda) as they took advantage of our first away trip by hammering us,” Roos said.

“I am confident we can get a positive result.”

UF La Fiamma drew 1-1 with Woodvale away last round, a side that beat them 4-3 earlier in the season. Sonnie Tatenda and Dan Walsh are back from injury for the reds. Roos said the side would take a possession-based approach into the game and try to improve on the result from last week.
