She’s an artist who has made a name for herself in the global art scene from her little art gallery in Mullewa, and now Helen Ansell is branching out once more.

Ansell will mark the start of what is expected to be a bumper wildflower season with the launch of a new fine art exhibition and limited-edition fashion collection.

The opening night of her new exhibition, Floral Fashionista, will be on July 31 in Mullewa. The sold-out event will feature a local and Indigenous models wearing limited-edition fashion designs.

The Mid West town of Mullewa is in the heart of the region’s wildflower country and the 2022 season is set to be a spectacular one thanks to recent heavy rains across the State. Native flora and fauna are the inspiration for Ansell’s eye-catching work, which has won her many fans.
