The coveted AFL premiership cup will be in Kalgoorlie-Boulder tomorrow as part of a two-week tour.

Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs will play for the trophy in the 2021 AFL grand final on September 25 at Perth’s Optus Stadium.

In the meantime, the cup — courtesy of Toyota and Virgin Australia — has already visited some of WA’s most iconic destinations, including Kununurra, Halls Creek, Broome, Exmouth and Geraldton.

Tomorrow it is the Goldfields’ turn — and a perfect lead-up to Saturday’s Goldfields Football League grand finals.

Stopovers for the cup tomorrow in Kalgoorlie-Boulder include Helloworld Travel, Kalgoorlie (120 Hannan Street) from 10am to 11am and Goldfields Toyota (60 Boulder Road) from 1.30pm to 3pm.

The cup will also be at Kalgoorlie City Football Club, at the Sir Richard Moore Sports Centre, from 5pm as all four senior grades prepare for Saturday’s GFL grand finals.

As part of the tour, Toyota is giving away tickets to the 2021 grand final.
