The Lower South West Soccer League cup finals were contested on Saturday, as well as round robin fixtures for the grades that play on smaller-sized pitches.

Bridgetown Forest and Southern Strikers contested a hard-fought final in the under-15s division, with Bridgetown winning on penalties after the match ended 1-1.

Both sides hit the post in a match affected by heavy rain.

Southern Strikers won the under-13s division, beating Manjimup 1-0 in the final, while the Bridgetown under 18s showed why they were the dominant side all season, dispatching the Southern Strikers 10-2. Individual awards for the season were also announced.

Tabatha Rock capped off a successful day for the Southern Strikers under-13s winning fairest and best for the season, with her teammate Charlie Lyster and Rowan Asplin from Bridgetown Forest both named runner-up.

Manjimup United’s Callum Walsh was fairest and best for the under-15s competition, while Bridgetown Forest defender Aspen Hodge was runner-up.

In the under-18s competition Bridgetown’s Eli Holdsworth was fairest and best, with Manjimup’s Taj Smith named runner-up.
