Carbine-Ora Banda Road crash: Man dies after ute hits tree on remote road north-west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder

A man has died after his ute hit a tree on a remote road north-west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Police said a white 2017 Toyota HiLux was travelling north on Carbine-Ora Banda Road about 5am on Tuesday when it left the road and collided with a tree. Emergency services were called to the scene about 60km north-west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, where crews worked to extract the 41-year-old male driver who was trapped inside the vehicle. Volunteer and career crews used rescue cutter and spreader equipment on the vehicle. The man died from his injuries at the scene.
