The Bunbury Geographe Motor Museum had a revving good holiday period with people lined up to explore inside.

Museum manager Christine Green said since opening in October the museum has attracted people from near and far around the State.

“We have had people come down from Darwin and people come up from Esperance to view the cars and displays,” she said.

Since school holidays started we had had people lining up to come in and it has been great to see.

She said car enthusiasts have been returning and bringing more people with them each time.

“People return with their kids or their parents, and it is a very nostalgic thing as they may have learned how to drive in a car here on display,” she said.

Ms Green said the volunteers at the museum have done a great job at getting people through the doors.

“The work they have done has been incredible and if anyone is wanting to volunteer they can come into the museum and we can set it up,” she said.

Rockingham visitor Terry Hill said he loved looking around the museum and would highly recommend it to anyone.

“We heard about the museum and were keen to have a look and it was great to see all the cars, I will definitely be telling people about it,” he said.
