Splendour in the Grass lineup: Kylie Minogue revealed as headline act as festival drops lineup a day early
One of Australia’s biggest music festivals has released its lineup a day early, with a global pop superstar revealed as the headline act.
On Tuesday, Splendour in the Grass released every act that would be performing during the three-day Byron Bay festival despite advertising it would go live on Triple J on Wednesday.
Aussie music star Kylie Minogue, rapper Future and G Flip are just three of the incredible acts announced.
Social media users were quick to notice the blunder, with one person asking “So who screwed up and dropped it a day early?”
Splendour in the Grass’ official Instagram account replied “Oops!”
Other acts revealed in the drop include indie-rock group Arcade Fire, Future collaborator Yeat, Tash Sultana, Thelma Plum and a whole heap of epic DJs to keep up the vibes across the weekend.
Tickets go on sale from 9am AEDT on Thursday 21 March.
