Man and woman charged with armed robbery against a homeless man in Yakamia, stealing his phone, wallet and pan

Two people have been charged after allegedly committing an armed robbery against a homeless man in Yakamia earlier this month, threatening him with a knife and a frying pan before taking off with his belongings.
The pair, a 35-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, are alleged to have approached a 45-year-old homeless man at his Albany camp about 12.15pm on March 1.
Police say the woman began rifling through his belongings and, when challenged by the victim, the man picked up a frying pan and held it in a threatening manner.
The man then allegedly punched him several times across the head and body.
Police will allege the victim and the man began wrestling, before the woman held up a knife and threatened to stab the victim if he did not release her accomplice.
