Beeliar man, 35, charged over ‘murder attempt’ on his 65yo father

A Beeliar man has been charged after allegedly trying to kill his dad.

The 35-year-old accused will face court tomorrow from his bed at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he and his 65-year-old father were taken following the violent incident at the weekend.

About 4.15pm on Sunday police were called to a home in Britannia Avenue where they found both men seriously wounded.

The accused’s father suffered critical injuries.

Homicide Squad Detectives today charged the younger of the two with attempted unlawful killing.
