Tamika Chesser: Beauty and the Geek star who was accused of beheading partner gives birth behind bars
Former Beauty and the Geek cast member Tamika Chesser — who is charged with beheading her partner Julian Story — has given birth while in custody.
Chesser, 34, is being held under a mental health detention order at Adelaide’s James Nash House — a secure forensic mental health facility.
In November, it was revealed the former reality star was pregnant at the time of her arrest in June 2025, due to give birth in early 2026.
The identity of the father has not been publicly disclosed.
On Sunday, 7NEWS Adelaide reported the child had been delivered while Chesser remained in detention.

Sign upOne of South Australia’s most disturbing criminal cases, the details pertaining to the alleged crimes have shaken the Port Lincoln community.

Chesser is accused of cutting off Mr Story’s head at their unit in June, dismembering his body and setting it alight.
She is charged with murder and destroying his remains to pervert the course of justice.
After an expansive six-week search for the 39-year-old’s head, Mr Story’s skull was found in Port Lincoln scrublands after a walker was led off a trail by their dog.
“One of those situations where the dog ran off into the scrub, the dog didn’t come back immediately on being called,” Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said at the time of the discovery.
“The person who’s walking the dog has gone in to see what’s going on and that’s how those remains were discovered.”

South Australia’s Premier Peter Malinauskas confirmed in November that there were “tailored” services for women pregnant while in custody.
He labelled the alleged crimes as “very unique” and “egregious”.
“Women who find themselves pregnant while in custody have access to very specific services that are tailored to prison health,” Mr Malinauskas said.
“Just as importantly, if not more importantly, the wellbeing of a life that exists in utero is being looked after as well.”
Chesser appeared on reality TV series Beauty and the Geek in 2010.
She is due to return to court next month.
