After more than 18 months off the court, senior players returned in the Katanning Netball Association
Senior players in the Katanning Netball Association hit the court for the first time in more than 18 months at the weekend after their opening round was postponed last week.
All senior teams were raring to go, dressed smart and all in great team spirit.
There were some great games that are making the rest of the season intriguing to see.
Cardinals Force proved too strong for Broomehill in the A and A-reserve grade, finishing comfortable 54-29 winners.
Dumbleyung 1 defeated Kojonup 2 28-16 while All Stars 1 prevailed emphatic winners over Kia Ora 67-34.
Olympians also won their first game of the season against Kojonup 1, 40-24.
In the B-grade, Olympians 2 downed Kojonup 3 48-40 while Tambellup Bluebirds ran out 35-29 victors over Cardinals Phoenix.
Dumbleyung 2 prevailed 33-24 in the C-grade over Olympians 3, while All Stars 2 showed their class to win comfortably over Cardinals Vixens, 59-24.
Meanwhile the juniors also hit the court for their second round of competition after they were able to start their season as scheduled last weekend.
