The 51st National Easter Citroen Citin was held in Katanning at the weekend, putting the famous French car make in the spotlight.

This year also marked the 100th anniversary of Citroen, which set the scene of a big celebration.

President of the Association of Citroen Enthusiasts WA Jack Gibney said the group could not have asked for better hospitality from the Great Southern town.

“It's our version of a national rally and it is held every year in a different State and 2019 was WA's turn to host it,” he said.

“We had over 100 folks registered for the weekend, most of whom had come from all over Australia to celebrate the weekend in Katanning.

“It was a huge success and the local folk were totally awesome in helping us put the event together.

Katanning and its people have a lot to be proud of their town.”

The Daily Grind cafe and the Premier Mill Hotel helped fuel the crowd.
