Dumbleyung residents are being asked to come forward with details about issues with their local mobile phone network.

The Shire of Dumbleyung has received complaints about issues with connecting to the Telstra mobile network after a recent upgrade.

Some of the complaints include lower phone signal strength, loss of reception in areas where it was previously available and phone calls being disconnected.

Residents who have had these problems as a result of the upgrade are being asked to provide specific examples for Telstra to investigate, including times, locations and the phone numbers of the caller and receiver.

Details can be sent to enquiries@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au
