IN PICTURES: Katanning Senior high school showcase talent at Fever Cup in Albany along with Kojonup, Gnowangerup and Jerramungup
High schools from Katanning, Kojonup, Gnowangerup and Jerramungup made the trip to Albany last week to participate in the West Coast Fever High School Netball Cup.
A total of 51 teams from schools between Narrogin, Denmark, Albany and Esperance took part in the event hosted by Netball WA Great Southern.
Katanning Senior High School sent away two sides, a girls’ and a boys’ team to take the court in the upper school 11/12 competition.
Kojonup participated in the middle school 9/10 girls’ pool B division and the 9/10 boys’ comp.
Jerramungup District High School brought three sides to the event — boys’ and girls’ teams for the middle school 9/10 competition and the lower school 7/8 girls.
Gnowangerup District High School participated in the lower school 7/8 boys’ and girls’ pool B division.
Games were played on indoor courts at Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre and outside playing fields, consisting of two 10 minutes halves.
