The Kojonup Netball Association had a massive turnout from surrounding regions for the junior carnival at its new courts on Sunday.

Two divisions of Set and Go were played, with Katanning sending one Set team and two Go teams.

Ongerup, Narrikup, Albany and Kojonup and Katanning all joined together with the kids to share an amazing event.

Netball WA Great Southern helped co-ordinate the event, along with Kojonup Netball Association.

Great Southern RASP athletes attended the event to do some training and skill work with all the teams before games started.

Throughout the carnival RASP athletes guided the juniors on court as their skills were progressing.

As scores are not something that get recorded for awards at the end of the day, there were other small fun competitions to be a part of and the Katanning Go team won the best hairstyles for the carnival.

Everyone was back in Katanning for round two on Saturday.
