Katanning Netball Association starting to heat up with important results in penultimate round

With only one round left in the regular season of the Katanning Netball Association before three weeks of finals, games are getting extremely intense.

Even with some big wins, the defeated teams gave it everything in their pursuit of victory.

Juniors were on point in the second last week of the normal season and every age group and level was full of knowledge and strong performances.

The Net & Set programs will have their final session this Saturday.

In the A and A-reserve division, Olympians 1 thrashed Broomehill, 80-23.

Kojonup 1 held strong against Cardinals Force, winning 62-41 while Allstars 1 were far too strong for Dumbleyung 1 in a 54-19 triumph.

In B-division, All Stars 2 proved far too strong for Olympians 2, winning 67-33, while Kojonup 2 prevailed 35-19 against Cardinals Phoenix.

Kojonup 3 continued their winning streak in C-division after downing Dumbleyung 2, 42-33.

Cardinals Vixens took the win, 39-16, against Olympians 3 in the other fixture.

On Sunday, Netball WA Great Southern held its first “hub day” for all the players and coaches selected in the Great Southern Regional Academy, held at the Katanning Leisure Centre.

Players and coaches from all over the Great Southern met, some for the first time.

The day was great with lots to learn.

The next hub day will be in a different location.
