Katanning police appeal for community help to find perpetrators of main street break-in

Katanning police are investigating a burglary at a sports store on Clive Street at the weekend. Police say about 3am on Sunday three offenders were captured on CCTV approaching the Katanning Sports Power store in the main street. They had their faces covered and were wearing gloves. The offenders smashed a window at the front of the store to gain entry to the building before stealing branded clothing. Katanning officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Carlos Correia has appealed to the community for help in apprehending the suspects. “The clothing is important and Sports Power plays an important part in the community,” Sen. Sgt Correia said. “The police need community help to find these perpetrators and someone out there will know some information.” If anyone is able to help police with investigating the incident, they are asked to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Katanning police.
