The Katanning Leisure Centre is a little quieter on Saturday mornings now the NetSet kids have finished up.

They completed their season on Monday with a final session and a medal presentation.

It was a super season, with so many little ones registering this year — and half of them are now heading into the GO division next year.

NetSet co-ordinator Tania Edwards has worked alongside her NetSet coaches this year to provide some great training techniques to get the right skills programmed into the kids early on.

It’s important that they start off with a good foundation of knowledge and understanding before heading into the next division.

The GO division is still in full swing with two more rounds to go this season.

Juniors are getting super-serious, with the top teams dominating their games in a bid to hold on to vital ladder positions.

Seniors had a spectacular round, and in A1 there were two games rescheduled to mid-week. Braving the cold night, Cardinals Force faced Te Taitonga 1 in a four-quarter battle.

Both teams were up and down, making it anyone’s game.

It came down to the final few minutes when Te Taitonga 1 got serious and pumped a few more goals to take the win 48-44.

Kojonup 1 came over during the week to brave another chilly evening, facing Olympians 1.

Making their travels worth it, they charged through with precise gameplay every quarter and took a nice win, 62-29.

Kojonup 2 had a hard battle against Allstars 1. However, Allstars 1 in top spot on the ladder, were determined not to lose.

With a supercharged game, Allstars 1 blitzed through to take a big win, 81-29.

In A2, the top three teams held their spots.

Broomehill took yet another win, remaining undefeated as Dumbleyung struggled to keep up, losing 22-70.

Kojonup 4, keeping up with their sister team, took a win against Allstars 3.
