Rive Gauche takes cup

Last weekend’s Wandecla Races at Kojonup were a raging success, with perfect weather, delicious food and, of course, plenty of refreshments.

The Cruizin Gems were on hand to provide tunes throughout the day and a large crowd stayed back to hear Russell and Tom end the night on a high.

The main race was the 1770m Kojonup Agricultural Supplies Kojonup Cup which was won by Rive Gauche.

Race 1 was won by Bar Couture, Race 2 was won by Earthshaker, Race 3 was won by Tekapo Tango, Race 4 was won by Well Spoken Man and Race 6 was won by Earthshaker.

There were plenty of Dash for Cash races to keep punters entertained, with kids’, men’s, women’s and veterans’ races.

Sarah O’Brien was the Moris and Poppy Champagne and Pearl Drop winner, Luke Reilly won the Men’s Fashions on the Field and Lauren Reid took out the Women’s Fashions on the Field.
