Katanning police have executed a search warrant at an Elizabeth Street house allegedly connected to two home burglaries in town. Two Katanning people were arrested on suspicion of committing burglaries at homes on Elizabeth Street and Adam Street between September 27 and October 1. Police allege the suspects unlawfully entered the properties between these dates and stole a number of items, including jewellery and a PS4. Officers conducted a search on October 7 at the home of the suspects, allegedly finding items stolen during the burglaries. Katanning police Senior Sergeant Carlos Correia said officers were able to identify the alleged offenders through information provided by the community. “We encourage community to report anything they know about the burglary or anyone acting suspicious to police as soon as they possibly can,” he said.
