The second round of the Katanning Netball Association season went smoothly as teams began to find their groove on Saturday.

There were fewer nerves and the gameplay went up a level with the juniors already focusing on set moves and encouraging each other as they get the ball down the court.

After a couple of weeks now of playing and training each week, it’s going to be great to see where these young stars will be by the end of the season.

There was plenty of passion and enjoyment in round two of the senior competitions.

Two A-grade teams produced dominant performances with Olympians 1 proving far too strong for Kojonup 1, winning 43-22.

Cardinals Force also showed they will be a strong contender this year as they won 52-31 against Allstars 1.

The A-reserve game between Kia Ora and Broomehill was rescheduled to a later date, leaving last year’s B-grade grand finalist to face off.

It was a close game but Allstars 2 prevailed 37-33 in the end over Kojonup 2.

In C-grade, Cardinals Phoenix and Allstars 3 had an intense game, with only three goals the difference at the end.

Allstars 3 prevailed 26-23 after a tight final quarter.
