Students of East Narrogin Primary School and St Matthew’s School rubbed shoulders with the Western Force in Narrogin on Friday. The Force took to Clayton Road Oval to showcase their skills in an open training session in front of students before running them through skill drills in the afternoon. More than 100 kids from both schools appeared throughout the day to participate in the drills, receive giveaway prizes and get autographs. A sausage sizzle lunch was provided for all students and staff. Western Force’s media team said the Force would “go to all corners of WA in the near future as part of a program to connect with fans around the State”. “We represent the entire of WA, so it’s important to foster a relationship with all fans,” they said. Farming equipment distributor AFGRI supported the day and displayed some of their key machinery and vehicles at the event. “AFGRI are a new regional partner and have spearheaded this initiative to move around WA.” Force media said.
