Town fills square to lift voices in Christmas song
A large crowd gathered at the Town Square for Katanning’s Carols by Candlelight on Sunday night.
Children’s games and a free sausage sizzle took place from 6pm before the carols started at 7pm.
The choir sang 17 songs, and a skit was performed by some of the younger Katanning locals during the night.

There was also a Christmas tree that carollers were encouraged to place non-perishable items under, which will go to those in need over the Christmas and New Year period.
It is estimated about 200-300 people attended the event, which was hosted by the Katanning Baptist Church.
