This scenic picture was taken in Wagin during a warm spring afternoon by Toby Hussey, a local journalist from Perth who likes to explore Western Australia and captures the essence of WA regional towns.

When he first saw the picturesque view in Wagin, it gave him a flash back of the famous windows explorer screen saver that he used to have in his computer.

“I drove passed this scene on multiple sunny days and kept telling myself to stop and get a photo.

“Incidentally on the day I took the photo it was overcast, which sometimes isn’t ideal for photography, but on this day it helped preserve the tranquillity, softness and isolated nature of the area.
