Eleven-year-old Corporate Larrikin keeps rewarding Wagin trainer Angela Smith after winning at Bunbury late last year.

He improved his career record to 16 wins from 90 starts including 22 minor placings after his triumph on December 30.

After being sent out as the rank outsider of the field of 12 runners, Corporate Larrikin caused a major upset in the Adios 2020 Handicap (1705m) at the Bunbury Turf Club.

Apprentice Beaux Banovic-Edwards jumped the gelding from barrier 11 and bounded across to find the front in the first few hundred metres.

After leading the field, Corporate Larrikin was headed at the top of the straight but Banovic-Edwards dug deep to lift the 11-year-old to victory by a long neck over Big Caroline.

Smith was represented by Danehill Storm at Albany Racing Club as part of Fitzpatrick Plate day on Sunday.

The six-year-old gelding ran fifth to Morgs Freeman in the Back Pike Drink What You Like Handicap (1100m).
