Flights in and out of Kalgoorlie have been halted as fog plagues the regional centre on Monday morning.
Aircraft due to land at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport had to be diverted because of heavy fog conditions, acting CEO Lui Camporeale confirmed.
There were also no flights leaving the airport as of about 9.30am.
Mr Camporeale said rescheduling would be a matter for individual airline carriers “following ongoing advice from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM)“.
“Passengers are advised to contact their airline directly for the latest scheduling updates and information,” he added.
About three or four flights were diverted, one to Leonora and the others were turned back to Perth.
