Mirrabooka crash leaves two hurt and thousands of dollars in damages
A woman has crashed into a home in Perth’s northern suburbs injuring a man inside after losing control of her car early Thursday morning.
The 23-year-old was driving a Mazda station wagon along Wintersweet Ramble in Mirrabooka just before 2am when she allegedly lost control of the car at a roundabout.
The Mazda careered through a fence before hitting the brick wall of a home on the corner of the street.
The car smashed into the bedroom of the home injuring a man inside, with damages to the property expected to reach $5000.
The fence has been destroyed by the impact and the Mazda appears to have extensive damage.
The driver received minor head injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.
A male passenger of the car was not injured.
The Beechboro woman will be summonsed on the offence of careless driving and will appear in court at a later date.
