Perth Airport Terminal 2 evacuated after fire sensor triggered, causing some delays to morning FIFO flights
A terminal at Perth Airport has been evacuated after a fire detector alarm was triggered.
Travellers were forced to evacuate Terminal 2 early on Monday morning after a smoke detector was set off about 5.45am.
No flames or hazards were found and investigators are still onsite trying to figure out what triggered the alarm.
Travellers were brought back into the terminal about 6.30am.
An airport spokeswoman confirmed that were now delays to about 14 regional morning flights, mostly fly-in, fly-out trips.
