Perth’s train network is experiencing delays due to Wednesday’s hot conditions.

Commuters have been told that due to the current temperature, heat restrictions are in place which are causing delays on all train lines.

“You may experience delays as trains are not running to the regular schedule. Thanks for your patience,” Transperth said in a tweet late on Wednesday.

Perth reached a scorching 42.1 just before 3.30pm.
