Albany’s Dolphin Lodge wins two awards recognising their high standards and positive reviews left by visitors

A popular Albany accommodation provider has added two awards to its trophy cabinet after being recognised for excellence by two global travel platforms.
The Dolphin Lodge Albany received the 2026 Booking.com Traveller Review Award and the 2025 Gold Circle Award from Agoda.
Manager Kiara Hambley said the awards were a reflection of the team’s dedication to providing guests with memorable stays.
“The Agoda award was for best reviews in WA and the Booking.com award was the traveller reviews,” she said.
“When people stay with us they can go online once they leave and leave a review about their stay and experience.
“It’s great recognition of our good team and it puts our name out there a bit more to welcome more people in.”
The Booking.com award was announced earlier this year, while the Agoda award came through only a few weeks ago.
Ms Hambley said the lodge has had a surge in bookings since receiving the Booking.com award at the beginning of the year.
“It’s been nuts,” she said.
“It’s always pretty busy but the last two months have gotten busier.
“We are fully booked until some stage next week but all weekends at the moment are booked out.
“Normally it dies down (over winter) for maybe a couple of days over one-to-two weeks and then we’re back into full swing.”
Looking ahead, Ms Hambley said Dolphin Lodge hopes to continue its awards streak with pending nominations at Trip.com, Expedia and Airbnb awards providing more opportunities for recognition.
“We’re with Trip.com, Expedia and Airbnb as well so hopefully something will come from one of those,” she said.
“We just want to keep everything how it is, keep our standards high and do what we do best.”
