Triple road train flips rear trailer and spills grain, blocking southbound traffic on Chester Pass Road

Motorists travelling south in the Stirling Range National Park have been diverted after a triple road train rolled on Wednesday morning, with one of its grain trailers blocking both lanes and spilling its contents. Police rushed to the scene on Chester Pass Road in the Stirling Range National Park shortly after 8.30am after receiving reports of a road crash. A truck towing three trailers full of grain flipped its rear trailer, spilling its cargo across both lanes and the shoulders of the road. The damaged trailer remained lying across the narrow road at 11am, blocking both lanes of the thoroughfare. Traffic travelling southbound along Chester Pass Road has being diverted as the section of the road near Toolbrunup Road, in the Shire of Plantagenet, is closed. Police are currently investigating the cause of the incident. St John WA was not called to the scene.
