Firefighters have rushed to a warehouse blaze in Perth’s inner-northern suburbs.
A business in Osborne Park, understood to be a smash auto repair shop, caught alight around 5.40pm.
Black smoke is billowing from the building near the intersection of Howe and King Edward Street.
At least five firefighting trucks are on the scene with firefighters rushing into the building with hoses.
The blaze has closed a major section of Howe and O’Malley streets with police blocking off the roads.
People in the area are warned the smoke, blowing towards Stephenson Avenue, could be potentially dangerous with the warehouse containing hazardous materials.
Those in the area are urged to stay out of the fumes and keep windows and doors shut.
