Mindarra crash: Male passenger dies after ute leaves road and hits tree on Bindoon-Moora Road near Gingin

A young man has died after the car he was a passenger in left the road and hit a tree near Gingin. The crash happened when a white Holden Colorado utility travelling southbound on Bindoon-Moora Road in Mindarra, heading towards Wannamal, left the carriageway and hit a tree about 5.05pm on Saturday. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a 22-year-old man died at the scene. The 25-year-old male driver was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
