Dumbleyung Town Hall was filled with laughter last Saturday night, as more than 100 locals gathered to watch WA comedians from Perth and Exmouth perform a series of stand-up comedy routines.

Kukerin-Dumbleyung Football Club, together with Fish Eye Comedy, brought five Triple J Raw Comedy finalists to Dumbleyung to raise funds for the club.

Exmouth comedian Squirly and Perth comedians Haydn Tuia, Jimmy Kuratz, Cody Lynch and Adrian Alaberg performed their own stand-up and improvisation and finished the show with a “roast battle” against one another.

Triple J 2017 RAW State finalist Cody Lynch was everyone’s favourite as he battled against Haydn Tuia to have the last laugh.

Kukerin-Dumbleyung Football Club organiser Mal Roberts said he had been planning the event for the past six weeks.

“Everyone loved it; we all had a great night. They all think it was an awesome show,” he said.

The football club raised about $4000 from the event.

Fish Eye Comedy will be doing another show at Perth Fringe Festival next year and around regional and rural WA in the near future.
