IN PICTURES: Inaugural Bluebird Festival goes off like a rocket in Dumbleyung

Hundreds of people descended on Dumbleyung at the weekend for an afternoon of fun at the inaugural Dumbleyung Bluebird Festival. Festivities kicked off at 3pm on Saturday, April 13 in the town centre, with family fun aplenty as Dawson Street was transformed into a giant playground. Children were spoilt for choice with inflatables, a pedal track, a petting zoo and heaps of rides, while inside the Dumbleyung Town Hall there was a wide variety of market stalls to keep the rest of the family busy. At 4.30pm, a local fashion show entertained the crowd while outside, Dumbleyung yabbie noodles kept people licking their lips until they sold out about 5pm. Entertainment rolled on throughout the afternoon with live music, face painting and show bags galore, and Narrogin band Drinks ‘n’ Tips kept the party going in the hall well into the evening.
