VideoThe royal drama rumbles on today with all eyes still firmly on Kate Middleton after her bombshell revelation that she was the one behind the edited Mother's Day photo.

The royal family has come under more scrutiny after claims emerged another photo released by the palace had been edited in multiple places.

The photo, released last year to celebrate what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 97th birthday, has been subject to intense inspection after signs of edits and manipulations were found.

British newspaper The Guardian claims to have discovered several edits to the photo which features Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as grandchildren Mia, Lena, Lucas, Savannah, Isla, James and Lady Louise.

It’s been reported Kate and William’s youngest child Prince Louis looked to have been moved to an entirely different position in the frame and the hair of Zara Tindall’s daughter allegedly copied and pasted.

A thread on X also alleged other alterations, including evidence the Queen’s skirt had been edited and the green lounge they were sitting appeared to have had embroidery removed.

The rumours come after Kate and the royal family continue to be picked apart since the Princess was admitted for planned “abdominal surgery” in January.

Following the successful surgery, Kate had not been seen in public since December last year, which ultimately lead to many crazy conspiracy theories to her whereabouts.

However, before the surgery, the palace did advise they wouldn’t be providing a running commentary on Kate’s health but would only share “significant” updates going forward.

Speculation reached an all new high when the palace released a “manipulated” photo of Kate surrounded by her three children to celebrate Mother’s Day in the UK.

Eagle-eyed social media sleuths quickly noticed the image appeared to have been Photoshopped and it and was “killed” by major photo agencies.

The editing failure of the now-viral photo was addressed by the Princess herself in an apology she posted to social media.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.”

On Tuesday, the Prince and Princess were spotted out and about together shopping near Windsor Farm.

Kate is still expected to return to her royal duties next month.
