Second-half fade out

Fremantle kicked their highest ever first quarter score outside of WA and have fallen to a 10 point loss.

Luke Jackson and Caleb Serong did not have enough support in the midfield while they kicked 3.8 in the second half as their nearly 80 per cent efficiency in the opening quarter fell away.

In the end the Cats came home with a wet sail and then ran over the top of them.

Max Holmes and Bailey Smith but finish woth 30 plus disposals while Neale, Cameron and Mannagh had 11 goals between them.
