Karratha police investigating e-scooter crash after two teenagers seriously injured

A teenager is fighting for life and another has serious injuries from an e-scooter crash in the Pilbara.

WA Police say about 3.45pm on Good Friday, two 14-year-old girls fell from an e-scooter on Karratha Terrace near Balmoral Road in Karratha.

The pair sustained serious injuries and were conveyed to Karratha Hospital for treatment.

One of the teens was later airlifted to Perth Children’s Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

The other remains in a stable condition at Karratha Hospital.

Police are now investigating the circumstances of the crash and are urging anyone who witness the incident or has vision to contact Crime Stoppers online or call 1800 333 000.
