AFL: There will be no ‘home’ comforts for North Melbourne as Fremantle look to continue their imperious form as they chase a record extending 12th straight win.

The Roos host the Dockers in Bunbury in what will be one of the shortest away trips the Dockers will ever have to make, with a packed house expected at Hands Oval.

On paper, this should be a straightforward job for ladder-leading Fremantle, but on the back of their stunning run down of Gold Coast, North Melbourne’s threat should not be discounted.

Murphy the mindreader

The barechested Voss has started this game red hot as he burns his oponent to get on a lead.

He’s had six touches two marks already but misses to make it two behinds.

It doesn’t matter however as Murphy Reid reads Luke Parker’s mind to cut off his kick in and convert from 15m out.

Dockers are punishing the Roos on turnover with 26 of their 27 points coming from that source

Treacy’s too strong

Voss is still playing in a ripped jumper not quite Deven Robertson areas but close.

He sends the Dockers deep where Josh Treacy comes through to take a strong contested grab with his big mits.

After missing an earlier shot he drills this one through to give Dockers back the lead.

North take the lead

Massive collision in the middle but the Roos win the ball and get a lasso free kick at half forward.

Mason Cox is clumsy to give away the free kick on Larkey who converts from directly in front.

Trembath hits back for the Roos

Shai Bolton, is caught at half forward and North Melbourne go quick.

The short passs inside 50 lands short of Larkey but Trembath soccers the loose ball off the deck and gets their first goal of the day.

It’s on!

Pat Voss takes the opportunity to take out Harry Sheezel with a heavy bump in the forward line and gives away a free kick.

The Roos get in the face of Voss who probably loves it.

As easy as they come

Switkowski cuts off the attempted switch as North Melbourne were too slow.

He runs into a open 50 and produces a cool finish on the run.

Dockers go end-to-end to set up Frederick

Clarkson said they needed to slow down Fremantle’s ball movement but that went to end with ease on that occasion to hit uopp Frederick inside 50.

It was uncontested football the whole time and that was far too easy.

Roos open the scoring

Slick hands from Paul Curtis gets North Melbourne down the wing.

Fremante defend but the Roos force repeat entries but a snap from Cam Zurhaar misses to the right for a behind.

Here we go

Early clearance win for Fremantle who have it locked inside their forward 50.

Harry Sheezel starts on Shai Bolton as Oscar McDonald takes a strong grab down the line to prevent North Melbourne’s attempted exit.

Clarkson wary of Dockers’ 3-headed monster.

“We’ve just got to try and slow them down if their forwards get isolated they’re so difficult to containt 1v1,” the Roos coach says.

“With Voss stepping up there’s three of them now who are really big threats.”
